Start at Flachau Tourist Information - on Dorfstraße Flachau towards the roundabout at the entrance to Flachau - go straight through the roundabout (second exit) towards Reitdorf – after the municipal office in Reitdorf, turn right towards Altenmarkt - after the motorway underpass (km 5), turn left (towards Atomic company) - at Hotel Kesselgrub turn left over the railway crossing towards Eben - after passing through Eben, turn right towards Filzmoos (before the motorway underpass) – along Filzmooser Landstraße – at the roundabout in the center of Filzmoos, turn right (1st exit) towards Ramsau. Attention, after a few meters we leave the main road and turn right towards Mandelberggut. From there, take the Enns cycle path back to Flachau.
Before every ride, check the functionality of your gravel bike and inform yourself about the weather in advance. For your own safety, wearing a helmet is also recommended.
The basic equipment of a gravel biker includes:
- Protective gear and suitable clothing
- Snacks for in between
- Sunglasses, possibly sunscreen or rain protection
- Mobile phone
Parking is available in the town center of Flachau (BBF Center & Minigolf parking lot).
From the end of June to the beginning of October, the Sportweltbus is the ideal shuttle and return service for your bike rides in the entire region (Salzburger Sportwelt & Obertauern).
With the "Guest Mobility Ticket" you can use the Sportweltbus free of charge. You can get the ticket from your host.
