  • Due to weather conditions, it can happen that the trails are not freshly groomed daily.
  • Cross-country skiing is at your own risk! No liability is assumed.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the trail!

Trail Rules:

Consideration for others - Every cross-country skier must behave so as not to endanger or harm others.

Signage, direction, and skiing technique - Markings and signals (signposts) must be observed. On trails and slopes, skiing must be done in the specified direction and technique.

Choice of lane and slope - On double and multiple lanes, skiing must be done in the right lane. Skiers in groups must ski in the right lane one behind the other. In free technique, skiing must be done on the right side of the slope.

Overtaking - Overtaking is allowed on the right or left. The skier ahead does not need to make way but should do so if it can be done safely.

Oncoming traffic - When meeting others, everyone must move to the right. The downhill skier has the right of way.

Pole handling - When overtaking, being overtaken, and when meeting others, poles must be kept close to the body.

Adjusting speed to conditions - Every cross-country skier must, especially on downhill sections, adapt speed and behavior to their skill, terrain, traffic density, and visibility. They must keep a sufficient safety distance to the skier ahead. If necessary, they must fall to avoid a collision.

Keeping trails and slopes clear - Those who stop must step off the trail/slope. A fallen skier must clear the trail/slope as quickly as possible.

Rendering aid - Everyone is obliged to help in case of accidents.

Identification obligation - Everyone, whether witness or involved, responsible or not, must provide their personal details in case of an accident.

Cross-country skis, poles & shoes, warm winter clothing ideally in layers, gloves, sunglasses, possibly sunscreen, drink, snack, and bus schedule.

Rental of cross-country skiing equipment in local sports shops.
